We tested Countless Wedges on our production grade MOPA IR Laser to find the perfect settings for performance and feel.

Laser Deep Clean: Resurface and Recolor the once warn wedge, this removes a micron of material on the face of the club, exposing the new, fresh steel that was beneath your wear and tear.
Microgroove Scoring: Cut fresh microgrooves into the face of the club to maximize spin on short range shots, with a desired roughness determined by you
Final Polish: This pass recolors the face, while de-burring and cleaning the freshly engraved microgrooves

How does Lunas Golf Co. refinish golf clubs?

We use laser resurfacing high-intensity light to vaporize rust, grime, and surface imperfections, cleaning it back to its original finish. It can also re-mill or engrave new, aggressive scoring lines into the metal, increasing surface roughness for higher spin, often mimicking factory-applied abrasive textures.

Does scoring more lines in the face actually increase RPMs?

Yes! Scoring more lines (grooves) on a golf wedge increases backspin, improves stopping power on the green, and enhances control from wet or grassy lies. These sharper, more numerous grooves act like tire treads to channel away debris and grip the ball better.

How long does refinishing services take?

Refinishing can take 1-2 weeks depending on how many clubs you send us. We do guarantee a 3 week turn around time from the day you send us your club(s).

How long does laser engraving last on a golf club?

Laser engravings on metal golf clubs are effectively permanent. Since the process removes material by vaporizing the metal surface rather than adding paint or coatings, the marks cannot peel, chip, or fade away. The primary factor affecting durability is engraving depth — deeper impressions preserve their appearance longer, even with frequent use. When properly cared for and cleaned after each round, a quality laser engraving should remain crisp for the entire life of the club. Even shallower engravings generally stay clear and readable after years of regular play.

Can you fix small nicks, scratches, and dents?

Yes, our refinishing service covers small nicks, scratches, and dings. We make every effort to reduce signs of minor wear and bag marks, although the final outcome can vary based on the severity and placement of the damage.

Do I have to pay for shipping?

Shipping for 3 or more clubs is always covered by us. If you send us 1-2 clubs, you will be responsible for all shipping fees.
